THE SEA, THE SEA AND GOD IN ME

 

God led me here, along the beach

To comfort me.

The sea, the sea!

 

"So, here I am, what can you teach

Or offer me,

Oh sea, oh sea?"

 

I let the sound, the atmosphere

Envelop me

And suddenly, so suddenly

It came to me.

 

I found peace, tranquility

Eternity.

Dear God, you do abide in me,

So said the sea!

 

And now I know I've naught to fear,

Once more I hear you God.

You're here with me

Beside the sea.
