A NAUGHTY MOUSE

(Ode to a Computer Mouse)

 

I finally got him

out of his house,

That lazy and pesky

non-working mouse.

 

I cleaned up his home

as best I could,

And put him back in

to work if he would.

 

The next time I tried him,

I had but one wish....

He either ran well

Or felt a BIG squish!

 

I think he is reading this

now as I write.

He seems to be trying

with all of his might.

 

How long this will last,

I really don't know

But, if he behaves

He won't have to go.
